She says that group practices with the other members pushes her further to practice and improve. Erin feels that each performance reminds her that music is universal and that anybody from any part of the world can enjoy music from different cultures.

Julia's love for Korean music & culture started when she spent her childhood in Korea for a few years. Playing 25-string gayakeum reminds her of herself as a Korean -American, part western & part asian. She finds gayakeum fascinating & enjoys spending time with her band members.

Chris is not only a musician but also a tennis player as well. Therefore he brings energy & dynamics into the group. It is not easy to juggle two things at the same time but he will jump on the stage with his members any chance he gets.

Sharon started music when she was 4 but she found herself enjoying music more when she started gayakeum 3 year later. It first started as a hobby at her Korean school then it became a big part of her life. Since then she performed at many places including UN, Lincoln center & even at other countries. She believes learning gayakeum has brought her incredible multi cultural expriences & unforgettable memories.
Katherine Sunjoo Graci

Katherine is a musician who loves to play classical music on her piano and viola. Most recently, Katherine’s love of music and her deep interest in her Korean roots motivated her to expand her music education further by learning gayakeum. She truly loves learning about the sound of traditional Korean music and enjoys playing music with and for others.

June is one of the younger member of GEMiNY. She is very shy but adventurous. The most memorable trip of her life was the trip to Africa for the music festival with GEMiNY. She was invited to play in many official cultural events in the US and other countries with her band members. She is proud to promote the music from her heritage traveling around the world.
